TERMS OF SERVICE

1. The Service

Squeek is a music-generation service operated by Craig Ellenwood / Haawke Neural Technology ("we," "us"), Point Roberts, WA. You provide a creative brief; the service generates original music. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, include a 7-day free trial, and can be cancelled anytime. Basic includes 25 song generations per month; Pro is unlimited subject to fair use — automated bulk extraction or resale of raw generation capacity is not fair use.

2. Your Music, Your Rights

Tracks generated from your brief are yours. You are free to use them in any way you choose, including commercially — release them, sell them, license them, sync them, perform them. We claim no royalty and no ownership of your generated tracks. We retain the right to keep each track's SHA-256 fingerprint in our public registry as a permanent record of provenance.

3. Training Data

The underlying music model is trained on licensed music. Generation is a creative, probabilistic process: outputs are original works, not copies of training material.

4. Responsible Use

Music generation carries inherent risks, including unintentional stylistic similarity to existing works, inappropriate blending of cultural elements, and potential misuse. By using Squeek you agree to:

• verify the originality of generated works before commercial release;
• clearly disclose AI involvement where appropriate;
• obtain appropriate permissions when deliberately adapting protected styles or materials;
• not use the service to generate harmful, deceptive, or unlawful content, or to imitate identifiable artists in a misleading way;
• respect artistic integrity, cultural diversity, and legal compliance.

5. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any claim, damage, or loss arising from your use of the service or of generated music — including, without limitation, claims of copyright infringement arising from stylistic similarity, third-party claims connected to your commercial use, and any misuse of generated content. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

6. Storage & Retention

Generated tracks download to you on creation. We vault a copy for 30 days (Basic) or 90 days (Pro), then delete it, retaining only the public fingerprint. Keep your downloads safe.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
